Receiving an Incomplete at High School- Canvas
Students that Receive an Incomplete ( I ) at High School in Conjunction with Canvas
Practice:
Per GRACC and the current practice, for any student receiving an Incomplete ( I ), the teacher and the student are to come to an agreement as to the timeline for when the work can be completed. The student has up to two trimesters in order to complete the work. In working with Canvas LMS, courses that are end-dated by Synergy become Read Only, meaning students can read and access assignments, and their attachments, including LTI components. However, due to the Read Only status, students cannot turn new work into Canvas.
Just as prior to the adoption of Canvas LMS it is proposed that students make a plan with their teacher to turn the work in either via Email, Inbox (inside of Canvas), or in-person if safety measures and guidelines allow.
How to access end-dated courses via Canvas:
Click on All Courses from the Course menu bar.
Scroll down to Past Enrollments and select the appropriate course to view.
